01
WHAT THIS SERVICE DOES

We help you prepare for your research defence by reviewing presentation structure, identifying key messages, anticipating possible areas of questioning and practising how to explain and discuss your research clearly.

02
WHY DEFENCE PREPARATION MATTERS

A research defence requires more than presenting slides. Students need to communicate the logic of their study, explain methodological decisions, discuss findings critically and respond thoughtfully to questions from the academic panel.

03
WHO SUPPORTS YOU

Asia Campus provides supplementary defence preparation using academically suitable research support resources powered by SIMI Swiss. The partner university remains responsible for the official defence process, panel arrangements, assessment and academic decisions.

04
WHEN TO USE THIS SERVICE

Use this service once your research has progressed to the formal defence stage and you have sufficient information about the university’s defence requirements, presentation format and expected procedures.

05
WHAT PREPARATION MAY INCLUDE

Preparation may include presentation structure, slide review, research summary, methodological justification, interpretation of findings, anticipated questions, delivery practice and mock defence activities where appropriate.

06
HOW THE SUPPORT WORKS

You share your research presentation, relevant defence requirements and key research materials. Supplementary guidance then helps you refine the presentation, identify areas that may require stronger explanation and practise responding to questions while preserving your own academic judgement and research voice.

PRESENT CLEARLY. DEFEND YOUR RESEARCH WITH CONFIDENCE.

After the formal defence, research work may require further revisions in response to panel or committee feedback. Continue with dedicated post-defence thesis revision support.
