Students must comply with the academic regulations, attendance requirements, student conduct rules and administrative procedures of their partner university, together with the laws and immigration requirements of the host country.

Where Asia Campus or SIMI Swiss provides supplementary support, students must also follow reasonable service procedures relevant to that support.

Students must provide complete, accurate and authentic personal, academic, financial and supporting information throughout admission, visa and enrolment processes.

Material changes affecting study, contact details, immigration status or other relevant circumstances should be communicated promptly to the appropriate university or support contact.

Students are responsible for paying tuition fees and other applicable charges in accordance with the terms and deadlines established by the relevant university or service provider.

Visa, immigration, travel, accommodation, insurance and other third-party costs remain the responsibility of the student unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

Students are expected to attend required academic activities, engage actively with their studies and research, meet submission deadlines and maintain appropriate communication with their lecturers, supervisors and university services.

Supplementary academic or research support does not replace independent learning, formal teaching or official supervision.

Students must conduct themselves respectfully toward university staff, lecturers, supervisors, fellow students, support personnel and local communities.

Academic dishonesty, harassment, disruptive behaviour and other conduct contrary to university regulations or applicable law may be subject to the procedures of the relevant institution or authority.

Students are expected to communicate honestly and responsibly regarding their programme, university and study experience and must not knowingly provide false, misleading or defamatory information.

Nothing in this policy prevents students from raising legitimate concerns, complaints or academic issues through appropriate channels.

Students remain responsible for their personal belongings, travel arrangements and reasonable precautions concerning personal safety during their international study experience.

Students should follow official university guidance, local laws and instructions issued by competent authorities concerning campus security, emergencies and public safety.

Students are encouraged to review and verify material information before making enrolment, financial, travel or career decisions, including programme requirements, tuition, study duration, visa conditions and qualification recognition where relevant.

Recognition of a qualification for employment, professional practice or further study may depend on the rules of the receiving country, regulator, employer or institution and should be verified where this is important to the student’s intended purpose.

Students acknowledge that international study may be affected by circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Asia Campus, SIMI Swiss or the partner university, including changes in law, immigration procedures, government action, public emergencies, transportation disruption or other force majeure events.

Where material changes occur, the relevant parties will make reasonable efforts within their authority to communicate available information and appropriate next steps.

Students must respect the confidentiality of personal information, restricted institutional records and academic materials made available for authorised study purposes.

Personal data, internal records, copyrighted materials or restricted academic resources should not be distributed or used outside permitted purposes without appropriate authorisation.
